Our small farm private experience is great for children and adults. You are able to make memories with our reindeer, meet our friendly goats, kitties and go for a family walk on our many trails.

Let me be the first to tell you that I have never had such an up close and personal encounter with a reindeer. North Wind Farm was a totally different experience. We are so happy we visited their farm. By far one of the coolest experiences I have had in my life.

What can I say? I was amazed with our experience at North Wind. A close family friend of told us about the reindeer in Harbor Springs. We almost didn't believe them. We had to go check them out. Our family has never been this up close and personal with real reindeer. It was so fun for all of us! A very well deserved thank you to Joe, Tara and Lillia for giving us a wonderful time.

Reindeer Tours

According to the U.S. Department of Fish & Wildlife the “Woodland Caribou” (this is the breed of reindeer we have on our farm) is considered an endangered species. It is with great pride that we are able to work towards increasing the number of these beautiful and amazing creatures in our world.

North Wind Farm is a class IV registered privately owned cervidae facility by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Division and members of the ROBA (Reindeer Owners and Breeders Association of America).
